A number of us have the Gritstone next weekend, and whilst the downhill sesh sounds amazing, it is probably a little risky with 1 week to go  (Sorry Jake)

So here is an alternative.

5 to 6 miles around forest tracks, with a little undulation.

Start slow - 40 mins zone 2 (Pace circa 10:30 to 9:30 mins / mile)

Speed up 10 to 15 mins zone 3 to 4 (Pace 8:30 to 9:00 mins /mile) You can  go quicker or slower. We will stop and double back to round up.

5 min cool down jog to the finish. Followed by simple stretches of you desire. 

Open to all, not just the Grinders. (Or should that be Gritters).
