Our toughest session

Tuesday: the day God created Sparta. From humble beginnings, it now typically attracts some 30 Spartans. The perfect antidote to day-job endurance. This is our regular metaphoric karate kick aimed squarely at a computer monitor or similar shackles. Meet up, bring it on, take it to the limits.

The worse the weather gets, the more the nights draw in, the more Spartans come out to play.  We split into 3 or more groups based on approximate ability and distance. We run around 5-15 miles at a pace that will at least blow away the cobwebs and at most push you to your limits. Expect hills, rooty muddy fun stuff, flowing single track, detours and great company.

Your heart will pump and your legs will burn. Wednesday: return to work buzzing, earn more ca$h, pay the bills, stay out of trouble, run more trails.

Approximate time: 7pm or later

Please note: you need a decent level of trail fitness for these sessions. It's up to you to make your own assessment of whether you are ready to join a Tuesday session. If you are at all unsure of your ability to keep up, try a Sunday session first.
